"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

Hey there! Thanks for the comment and q's! Currently I do the characters in Flash, and then add any efx in PS. Lighting, highlights and all that extra stuff. I would suggest drawing in Flash with the tablet, it creates some great thick to thin lines. I have never tried drawing in Illus, but I found that program to be better suited for inanimate objects and buildings. Hope that helps, and have fun with it!
